[Where did the band name come from?]
Back in the day, Scott Banaszynski (If All Else Fails) was in our band and he was listening to his DJ Shadow cd; the first track on the cd was called Best Foot Forward. He thought it had a nice ring to it, so he wrote this song called Best Foot Forward which we quickly adopted as a song and then our band name.

[Who in BFF are good friends outside of the band?]
For the most part we are all really really good friends and that's what makes this silly 8-piece somehow work! Its likely that you've seen us run around town doing something really stupid but thats what were all about.. if we're not playing music we're out causing some kind of trouble.

[Are you a Christian band?]
Though Mike's mom would be overjoyed, we are not a Christian band. We all have our own beliefs. Coincidently, we all like girls so that's what we write about.

[Are you guys big-headed?]
lol, hell no!! we just have a website.. you're here arent you?

[What's up with you guys making fun of Steve K? (he's so cute)]
Messing with Steve is a passtime that goes back way before the band even started! We have nothing against him personally (well maybe a couple little things) but he's a kickass part of this band!! If you see us ripping on him its just out of habit and we love the kid.

[What local bands do you hold grudges against?]
hmmm.. honestly... nobody!!! we are yet to come across a band that we really dislike, and at the same time we're not in the position to be hatin anybody because we aint shit! if you heard of anything between us and another band it was probably just a rumor or over something really dumb! bff loves everyone.

[Before Best Foot Forward what was your band name?]
We went through many lame band names before Best Foot Forward. Our first was The Diffuser... that didn't last very long. Then we took the name Yellow 5, after we found out that it was used a million times over again we then switched to The Skipouts... then Kristen's Slingshot (???, see below), The Funions, High Efficiency, and 7-10 Split.. we stuck with 7-10 Split until we also noticed it was already a band. Finally we adopted Best Foot Forward. About a year ago we almost renamed to Split 9.. but that didn't happen..

[Who is the hairiest member of Best Foot Forward?]
that's a toss-up thats probably between Kevin and Jason. but i heard kevin is starting to shave his butt so i dunno..

[Who are the band's favorite stars/music groups?]
Some of our favorite stars are: Tom Delonge, Christina Aguilera, Britney Spears, Tara Reid, Rachel Leigh Cook... Some favorite bands: Alkaline Trio, Saves The Day, The Get Up Kids, Less Than Jake, New Found Glory, Goldfinger, Mest, Reel Big Fish, Dashboard Confessional, Midtown, The Starting Line, and Rx Bandits..

[Are you guys going to break up when Brian and Kevin go to college?]
No, Kevin will be going to UW-Milwaukee next fall and he plans to spend his weekends in town. Brian will most likely be attending at UW-Parkside which is in town.

[Why is Jim so retarded?]
Jim is just a funny and crazy crazy man.

Jim, Brian, Zach, and Steve are the single guys right now.
